About Me

My parents never wanted to talk about what would happen to their estate after they died, and we kids didn't exactly push them – we didn't want to think about them dying either. That was a big mistake though. When they eventually did pass away, and we were faced with a mess. Nothing was planned or allocated, and sorting it all out took forever and led to some heated arguments and hard feelings. I started a blog about estate planning to help other families avoid nightmares like ours. Death doesn't have to result in squabbling family members and court proceedings. All you have to do is plan ahead. I hope to use this blog to help you learn more.
